He did dressage, then jumping. His score was pretty good, I can't remember it.  He was pretty good for me, earning a third place ribbon (out of 5 entries). I had been riding him with a bitless bridle (yes, a stud in a bitless bridle). And we were as ready as we were going to be...off we went. He hollered a little, but then we started warming up, and relaxing. He did his test very well. I felt he was pulling a bit on my hand, but he did all his moves. The judge said he was cute (he was the ONLY paint there). </div> <div> Now the jumping. He had jumped once (the day before)..in we go, start our practice round. He glides over the first jump, and then hunches his back and does three crow hops...then he is done...we continue, he manages to clear all of them, then we do the actual "judged" round. He glided over those jumps (18") like a seasoned hunter/jumper! I was so proud of him! Then he calmly walked out of the arena, and back to the trailer. As I was taking off his splint boots, and telling him AGAIN what a good boy he was, Terri young comes up to me with a blue ribbon, and a Day End Champion ribbon. As she hands them to me, she says: "Well I guess he can do dressage too!" (he was the reserve champion Barrel racer last year)...yes terri, my sexy boy can do it all....! </div> <div> Trail rides, halter class gymkhana, and now dressage and jumping! </div> <div> What a versatile stallion! He is the image of his proud daddy..mostly white with one watch eye, and the 3/4 medicine hat, Little black chin, and full black chest, as well as the three little lumps of black on his back...</div> <div> the rest is snow white. </div> <div> I have his birth on video.
